"It is useless to force the rhythms of life."
I read this line in Outside the Lines ( a newsletter produced by the Canadian Coach Michael Bungay Stanier). It's one of those quotes that hits the spot for me at the moment and reminds me, both in my professional busy-ness and at home with teenage children, that people's life rhythms really have to be acknowledged and accommodated.
Michael has also produced a lovely internet film (about 6 mins) that is great for taking a break, having a cuppa and reflecting on. It has many themes - work life balance being one of them.
I hope you enjoy it.
