Potential minus Interference (PMI) – a new programme

I am actually using this posting as a training resource to demonstrate to 15 managers what a blog is.

As part of their personal and team development on the PMI, they will receive:

  • 360 degree feedback on their psychometric Individual Effectiveness Profile
  • one to one coaching
  • a series of whole day team development sessions tailored to the group’s current requirements

An important factor when undertaking any personal development programme is to keep some kind of learning log / journal to articulate your ideas, reflections and personal insights and also to use as a record of what you’ve learned.

A blog is a fantastic, free resource for this purpose. It’s like a cross between an email and a website.

You can set up the coaching blog individually to be a confidential resource for your personal use only, or, you can invite me to access it as well so that we can have a blog dialogue throughout the PMI programme. This can be very useful for bouncing ideas around, receiving support and feedback, asking questions, sharing reflections etc.

Create your own blog
Those of you who are interested in creating your own blog, just log on to www.blogger.com and follow the step by step instructions. To ensure confidentiality, go into Settings – Basic – and answer No to the statement Add your blog to our listings.

If you would like me to join in your blog and use the blog as a resource within your personal development as part of the PMI, just let me have:

  • the name you want for your blog, (the title or header)
  • a user name for yourself
  • a password for yourself

I’m happy to get this started for you.
